胡志明市華語成人教育中心（Trung Tâm Giáo Dục Thường
Xuyên Tiếng Hoa）成立於2002年，校址設在第五郡海上懶翁街66號，但因該址校舍因年代久遠，房屋狀況不佳，2017年8月計畫重新動工興建。
究竟看到這樣的消息是否應恭喜越南有一座新的建築物，以後的學生可以使用更新的設備？ 還是該為失去了一座法屬殖民時期的歷史建築而傷感？我已經懶得去探查這建築的歷史。但是，一位越南朋友寄了資料給我，1975年這裡是堤岸義安的同德中學。
這二年來，胡志明市為了都市更新，拆除一幢又一幢的歷史建築，可能因為我認識的建築物逐漸的消失，我對這個城市也失去了興趣。因為我感興趣的是華人在西貢留下的足跡和故事，沒有建築物只能看書，沒有人講華人故事給我聽，還是只能看書，少了人和物的連結，只剩下書上的記錄。

The centre of Chinese languge education (Trung
Tâm Giáo Dục Thường Xuyên Tiếng Hoa ) was established in 2002, it is located at
No. 66 hải thượng lãn ông HCM. However,the HCM city government planed to reconstruction
at August 2017.
I don’t know should I happier to know will
have a new building and facility for Vietnamese to learn Chinese, or I should be
sad to know more one French colonial built heritage for losing in the world? It
seems I have no any energy to find out the history of this building. Today, my Vietnamese friend let me know the school was be Dong Duc High school belong to Nghia An (義安同德中學).
The past two years, there are a lot of built
heritages were destroyed for urban renewal in Ho Chi Minh City. I also lost
interest in the history in this city after the building gradually disappeared
which I knew. Now historical buildings were disappeared one after another, no
one can tell me the historical Chinese story. I only can know the information
from the record of book with fewer links of people and building.
